Quaternion is a cross-platform desktop client designed to work with the Matrix protocol, providing extensive configuration options for a personalized user experience. Compatible with major operating systems including GNU/Linux, macOS, and Windows, Quaternion offers stable integration and tailored set-up through varied methods such as Flatpak and Homebrew. Utilizing Qt version 6.2 or higher, it addresses integration concerns across different Linux distributions. Although still in beta, Quaternion continues to support End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) and efficient caching for improved performance.
